Youth Depression and Suicide Prevention Program
The mission of our Youth Depression and Suicide Prevention Program is broad, encompassing research, professional training and education, public education and awareness, and public policy initiatives. In addition, this program is closely linked with the Youth and Young Adult Mood Disorders Clinic, which provides clinical services in the domain of youth depression and suicide prevention. The Program resides with the Department of Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Section, and the University of Michigan Depression Center. Dr. Cheryl King provides leadership for the program.
