Ambulatory (Outpatient) Psychiatry Services
Medical Director: Thomas E. Fluent, M.D.
For patient referrals, the Department has established the Psychiatry Admissions and Appointments Program, which makes it easier to gain admission to any one of the inpatient programs or to appropriate outpatient programs. All referrals are handled in a manner that will best meet the needs of the patient and the referring physician. Those referring into the system can accomplish their goal with one telephone call. A brief telephone screening will be done and appropriate recommendations will be made.
