Adult Consultation/Liaison Services

The Consultation/Liaison services provides psychiatric expertise to patients receiving medical care in the University of Michigan Medical Center outside of psychiatry clinics and inpatient units. The Consultation service provides 24 hour access to psychiatric consultations within the medical center. In addition, psychiatric liaisons with specific Medical Center departments provide ongoing access to mental health specialists.
