This year, we are pleased to announce that Ezekiel Emanuel, M.D. Ph.D. will be our speaker at the event Beyond Band-Aids: How to Cure America's Sick Healthcare System.

Ezekiel EmanuelDr. Ezekiel Emanuel is the Chair of the Department of Clinical Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health.  He is an oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Dr. Emanuel’s most recent book, Healthcare Guaranteed:  A Simple, Secure Solution for America has just been released by Public Affairs Publishers.  He has published widely on health care reform, and on ethical issues surrounding research, end of life, and managed care.

Dr. Emanuel has received numerous awards, including election to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Science.  He has served on President Clinton’s Health Care Task Force, the National Bioethics Advisory Commission, and the International Advisory Board on Bioethics of the Pan-American Healthcare Organization.
