Clinical Social Work Post Graduate Training Program

Michigan Post Graduate Social Work Fellowship Positions2-year fellowship opportunity, with extension to 2nd year subject to review at the end of the 1st year by both the program and the fellow

Stipend 1st year:
$28,000 with medical benefits and 3 weeks of vacation (January thru December)

Stipend 2nd year:
$32,000 with medical benefits and 3 weeks of vacation (January thru December)

Three 40 hour/week clinical fellowship positions are available for recent social work graduates. Fellows will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing evidenced-based psychosocial treatments for adult and child/adolescent outpatients. Additional responsibilities will include participation on one of the outpatient interdisciplinary teams and in the social work programs offered through the University of Michigan Depression Center- Family Education and Support Groups. Fellows will also have scheduled weekly supervision as well as multiple opportunities to participate in training seminars, individualized educational experiences and research.

For the adult psychiatry fellowship, specific experience and interest in evaluation and treatment of depressive/mood disorders is preferred. This fellowship will also provide experience and training with community support treatment services.

For the child/adolescent psychiatry fellowship, specific experience and interest in evaluation and treatment of pediatric anxiety disorders, depressive/mood disorders and disruptive behavior disorders is preferred.
