Annual Fogarty International Training Program Workshops

The International Collaborative Substance Abuse Research Training Program is a joint venture between the University of Michigan Addiction Research Center and several research and treatment institutes located throughout Central and Eastern Europe. Collaborators are located in Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Latvia. The program is funded by an International Clinical, Operational, and Health Services Research and Training Award (ICOHRTA), supported by the U.S. Fogarty International Center and the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Program workshops are hosted in Europe each year for substance abuse researchers to share updates on their own and their country's research and to build collaborations with colleagues.
