Ambulatory Psychiatry Services

Welcome to the Ambulatory (Outpatient) Psychiatry Services at the University of Michigan. We are one of the national leaders in integrating significant advances in genetics, neurobiology, and the behavioral sciences into a more comprehensive understanding of human development and behavior that allows us to provide state-of-the art patient care.

Treatment modalities range from advanced psychopharmacological treatments to the most time-honored psychotherapeutic ones.  We have specialists within the areas of cognitive and behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), group psychotherapy, and long and short term psychodynamic psychotherapy.  Clinical services are provided by psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, clinical nurse specialists, and social workers.

We are located within a wonderful building in east Ann Arbor – The Depression Center - Ambulatory Psychiatry Rachel Upjohn Building.
