Edward Humenay, LMSW
Ed Humenay, a graduate of the University of Michigan (1987), has been working in the field of addictions and chemical dependency since 1970. His particular focus is on dual diagnosis, that is, the treatment of individuals with both mental health and substance use disorders. More recently, he has played an active role in the design, implementation, and evaluation of the UMATS Buprenorphine Clinics. In this capacity, Mr. Humenay is a member of a multidisciplinary team (medicine, nursing, and social work), providing care to patients being treated for opioid dependence.
